- Wedding: March 2013
I’ve never been to a wedding where people don’t dance, but this is one of my biggest fears for my wedding day (the other one being people leaving early because of no one dancing/boring party). We hired a live band that will play a variety of music for 4 hours.
My main concern is that our venue has 2 sections, one where dinner takes place and the other one where the dance floor and the live band will be. It actually is the same salon, but there are big doors dividing these two sections. We are planning to put some high cocktail tables with no chairs in the section of the room where dancing will take place, so that people can have a place to put their drinks there while dancing and still be close to them.
My FI and I love to dance so we’ll definetely be on the dance floor most of the night. I’m just wondering if there are any tips that we could follow to keep people on the floor dancing and having fun. Thanks !
