I’m going through the monthly routine of being upset that AF came. After 15 months you’d think I’d be used to it but it almost feels like it’s getting harder.
I have a referral to a specialist but have to have some tests done first. I’ve done a bunch already and have an ultrasound scheduled at the end of the month.
In the mean time, I want to pull out all the stops. Please tell me your tips, tricks, no matter how silly. I am willing to try anything.

Sex, sex all the time. From couple days after AF until couple days after confirmed O. It’s a myth that once every other day is better than everyday, or twice a day even.
(I know it’s tiring, sometimes impossible, and not romantic at all!)
Good luck, don’t give up, it’s great that you are getting tested so you can know what to work on if there’s any issues.

No clue if this is why I got pregnant, but I did 1 month after my husband quit nicotine and I quit Diet Coke in support. We had been trying for 5 months prior.

dannad : when I went to my doctor she seemed almost mad that we’d been doing it more frequently than once every second day. Although a lot of what she said, I think was wrong. I’m glad she’s not our fertility specialist! I believe it’s a myth as well.
SLOBee : that’s good! I’m trying to be healthier and drink more water. It’s tough though.

mrspuppylove : Every other day really depends on if the man might have sperm issues. If for some reason he had concerns about sperm production, EOD could be better.
FWIW, stats actually show that couples who have sex EOD have the same chances of conceiving as those who have it every day. So…I say, why tire yourself if you don’t want to make it a chore?
For me, the first time I got pregnant, we only mangaed to have sex one day during my fertile window and it ended up being the day before ovulation (I temped to confirm). Sadly, that ended in a miscarriage.
For the next four months, we did EOD during FW. On month four, we still did EOD, but added in pre-seed because my lady cave was dry down there (lol). I got pregnant that month and am currently a little past 11 weeks.

I ate pineapple core (so disgusting) after ovulating. It’s supposed to help with implantation. Worth a shot!!

I wore socks and gloves all the time (it was winter and I have poor circulation, leading to cold hands and feet) and slept exclusively on my left side. I don’t know if this helped, but apart from having sex every other day until pos opk and then 3 days straight after pos opk, these were the only things I did different to any of my other cycles.
Good luck bee! Xx

you can take the bromelin pills if you don’t want to eat the core! Take them for the first five days after ovulation. Also preseed.

annonbee857 : congratulations! Darling Husband hasn’t gone for his SA yet but I don’t even think we’ll get the results when he does. I haven’t gotten any results for my tests, I think they just get forwarded to the clinic. But we will be trying EOD just in case.
Weddingobsessed : I will be trying this!!
I have tried pressed with no luck.

I did the pineapple core thing, too lol. I also started sleeping in socks! Apparently it helps to warm the uterus.

SMEP method, soft cups, preeseed, COq10 for egg quality, maca root and staying hydrated.

Obviously this isn’t the solution for everyone but when we did it every day around ovulation it worked. So with this chart it didn’t work:
But with this chart it did:
Lots & lots of luck to you guys. Really hope the specialist can help you out & you get that positive soon.

tm6173 : okay I am going to start sleeping with socks!
iamali : thank you so much. It’s been tough. I’m hoping they can help too and whatever the issue is, it’s fixable!

I have a tilted uterus. My gf who has 2 kids and is a nurse has a tilted uterus too. She told me to be laying on my stomach/face down when my hubby ‘finished’…. i did that and got pregnant on that try.
So who knows if there’s anything to that or if it was just luck
