@MeeshelleMyBelle:  I love people telling me what they’re going to wear etc. It makes me feel like they’re excited about the day! Any chance I get to talk about the wedding Im gonna take it, even if it’s discussing someone else’s fake tan lol.

Everyone just wants to look nice for such a special day! It’s better than them showing up too casual or naked. Just sayin’. Try to chill! It’ll be okay.

lol every female guest I talk to tells me the same exact thing. They’re all getting their makeup done professionally, bought new dresses, etc.. I wouldn’t worry too much though because WE’RE the brides and the spotlight is going to be on US 🙂

ETA: but I also share the opinion of PPs that this just means they’re excited! It’s better than them not caring.

As long they are well dressed, the bride will be the center of attention so you have nothing to worry about. If someone shows up in a tube top and cut off jean shorts you will be sharing the spotlight. So try to be happy they are having fun and enjoying getting dolled up!

@MeeshelleMyBelle:  So guests want to look nice at your wedding.. Why not look at it in a positive way? They think it’s an important event that they actually want to for one show up and twopress up and look good on your special day. I think it’s sweet that people want to do instead of aw I don’t need to shower, this dress doesn’t fit but who cares? Lol

I can see how when you are in the middle of your planning and worrying about your big day, it would seem selfish of people to say that. But honestly, you should feel great that people want to look really nice on your big day. If I were to tell a bride I wanted to look great on her day, I would hope that she would see it as a compliment rather than as an insult. Look at that bright side. 🙂

I’d be excited that they are excited!  and maybe some of them are looking for approval from you when they describe their outfits?

Well at least you know they won’t be showing up wearing a trash bag and not brushing their teeth right? 😉
