This is the 4th time this week someone asked me if it’s “ok” if they bring their kids the wedding.
I feel like a total b*t*ch when I have to tell them they can’t. I hate this part of wedding planning. 🙁

Did you indicate that it was adults only on the invites? Your not a b*t*h for saying no to univited guests. I think its kind of rude to ask to bring someone not on the invite. Stay strong 🙂

It’s no one’s fault, it just sucks that i have to tell ppl no due to budget. 🙁 I wish everyone can come and i have lots of money. LOL!

Uuuugh. That sucks. I hate having to tell people no – we’ve tried to be upfront with the whole ‘no kids’ thing before the invites even went out, but we’re STILL getting questions too.

You don’t have to say “no”. There’s a MILLION ways to say it nicely (I’m not saying you’re being rude when you say it but it sounds as though YOU think you are).
“I’m so sorry, we’re not inviting any little ones”
“We’ve decided to create an adults-only party for our guests”
“Ugh, I wish we could but our guest count is so out of control at this point that we’re not able to have any additional attendees”
“We don’t even LIKE children” LOLLLLL, I put that one in cuz I’m hilarious!!! Good luck!
