Alright, so I’m giving in and making the ubiquitous tissue paper pom-poms for the reception. But I’m not having as much luck making them as I’d hoped. They keep coming out looking more donut-y, where the top and bottom aren’t full at all. They don’t look terrible, but they don’t look great. Any thoughts or tips from anyone’s experiences?

If you can upload a pic it might help me a bit more to figure out what we’re working with. But, you could always tray adding another sheet or two of paper to make them fuller. Also, I like to pull at the tops and bottoms first and fluff inwards. I hope that helps a bit…

I agree with d’orsay about fluffing inwards. How many sheets of tissue paper are you using?
