I wouldn’t worry about it. I know that unless it’s a letter from a different country I never pay attention to the stamp at all.

Although, coincidentally, our stamps for our invites happened to be kissing rabbits, which is adorable ๐Ÿ˜›

I probably wouldn’t want to use them on my invites, but I wouldn’t return them – I’d just be all stocked up on stamps for routine mail for the next year or two!

I’m a stamp dork who special-ordered vintage stamps for her invites.

And even I am telling you that people probably won’t even notice (or, they might think you’re trying to forge an association with the movie, which is sappy, but whatever)

But stamps are eternally useful so if you really don’t like them, then save them–use them for bills or all those thank-you letters you have coming your way. You can always buy the 1-cents if the postage increases in the future.

Do they still have the ones of the arctic rabbits that kind of look like they’re kissing?  Go with those!  OR – omg – you can have your own made through Canada Post with YOUR OWN PICTURE ON IT!  We did that and it was a HUGE hit.

I admit that I would notice and laugh about it. We don’t have such stamps here in the US, but if I somehow managed to receive one, I’d probably even joke with the bride about it.

This is funny.  I had the same conversation with the lady who works at the post office here – Fiance wanted to buy the Titanic ones and she was like, are these for invitations? then no!  Don’t want to have a sinking ship on the invites LOL.  Then he went back to mail off our international invites and ended up getting Titanic ones anyway! Oh well, at least most people will get the lilies – they are pretty ๐Ÿ™‚

How funny. I’m being very picky about the stamps for our invites too so I don’t blame you for wanting to change them. I’m glad you got ones you liked.

@PersephoneTheophania:  I got these stamps the other day too, and the thought actually crossed my mind that I was happy they weren’t out when I was sending invites.  Who wants their wedding being associated to a sinking ship??

Titanic stamps sound cool. Your FH is absolutely correct that no one anywhere even notices the stamps unless they are an avid collector. No reason to freak out over the ones you got since they don’t doom anything.
