Ok, I’m really confused. Normally my cycle is pretty straightforward, it starts up somewhat slow, then I’ll get a very heavy day on day 2 or 3 and it tapers off and usually lasts 5-7 days. My last 2 cycles have been off-pattern though: the last one I didn’t get a heavy day at all, and it lasted like 4 days, then stopped for 1-2 days, and started up again for 1-2 days… Then the cycle that I’m in now seemed to go back to normal: I had a very heavy day a few days in, and it lasted about 5 days… and now it’s day 8 and I’ve started bleeding again!! WTF? Anyone else had this happen?

Changes like that are normally caused by changes in diet and exercise habits, or stress. Either of those?

I’m no help- just commenting to follow. I occasionally have a similar issue w my flow being very heavy then stoping for a day or two entirely, then coming back for a day or two before it’s totally done.. Do you take any hormonal bc?

Mine started acting weird when I hit my early thirties and not peri menopause. It’s been different ever since

nope, no big changes in any of those!
I have a copper IUD (have had one for about 3.5 years now), and I turned 29 about a month ago…

Maybe it’s the IUD? I don’t know the answer, but I also have a copper IUD and for the past year every period has been SUPER heavy for 4 days, stops for a day or two almsot completely, then comes back at full blast for a day or two.
