I get that sometimes when I’m PMS-ing or on my period. Mostly when I’m off the Pill, or on the generic brand that doesn’t work well for me.

I know this is a rather presumptious question, but do you think that you may be pregnant?

Are you close to getting your period? Have you changed BC recently?

The only time I have boob ‘weirdness’ is during those times. If it continues I would definitely see a doctor.

I’ve never felt like that before. Have you switched up BC lately?

Don’t be embarrassed about seeing a physician (nurse practitioner, physician assistant, etc).  Their job is to figure out what is wrong and made a plan to correct the situation (or sometimes just reassure you that it is “normal”).  If you’re concerned, I would definitely schedule an appointment.

Could it be a swollen lymph node somewhere in there? Maybe you are coming down with something or have some sort of infection and your lymphatic system is trying to work it out of you? Maybe a bee with a nursing or medical background could interject…

Ok, not to be intrusive, but… Has anyone beeng giving that breast a little more attention than usual? Sometimes when there is a peak in stimulation, your nipples can get sore, and if one is favored over the other that might explain why only one is experiencing discomfort. I’ve had issues with eczema and using the wrong detergent on a bra causing sensitivity too. Lots of everyday things can cause this, but if you’re stumped I’d definitely make an appointment.

I’ve slept on one boob wrong.  Seriously!  I slept on my left and woke up with a really sore booby.  It went away after sleeping the next night though.  The swollen lymph node is another possibility.  You may just have a virus.  Unless your boob becomes red, itchy, or swollen, I wouldn’t worry too much about it.  Give it a couple of days and see how it feels.  If it’s still sore, try soaking in a hot bath.  If that doesn’t work, THEN I’d go to the doctor…

I was going to say something about soreness before period. Maybe a bug bite??? You do need to get to a doctor asap, better to be safe than sorry. You should make an appointment soon and get that checked out!
