I am currently 22+3. 3 days ago I was experiencing an increase in discharge that had no smell but I was worried about it and eventually was diagnosed with BV so I have been on oral treatment for that. The discharge seems to have mostly stopped except this morning when I woke up I had a teaspoon amount of transparent yellow discharge with no smell. When I was diagnosed with BV they checked my cervix and said everything looked good and it was very well closed. How concerned do I need to be that this is amniotic fluid? I really had to pee this morning and I thought I held it but maybe I peed a little and didn’t know it? Or is this likely just a result of my continued treatment for BV. Thanks for any insight!

Most likely from the treatment. I’m at 22 weeks, 2nd pregnancy and let me tell ya- you’ll have tons of discharge for the duration of your pregnancy. Completely normal. Always good to check with your dr if some symptoms worry you but discharge is normal and depending on how active you have been, etc, you might get more. Pantyliners are a must.

pregnancy is WET! Lol. Unless it’s super smelly or colored or something, or comes out in a big rush, I’m sure it’s normal.

So fun that so many of us are so close! I’m 22 weeks 5 days and last week I bought the thinnest panty liners I could find and change it twice a day. It’s annoying but better than changing underwear all day long! Lol

I am 33 weeks and I wear light period pads because yeah…discharge is completely normal. It’s probably less normal to be completely dry.

thank you ladies. I did try a panty liner all day yesterday which wasn’t very wet so hopefully everything is all good. Again Too Much Information, but I can just occasionally feel it running out and it freaks me out every time.

In my experience you’re likely peeing yourself a little in addition to the extra discharge! I’m 38.5 weeks and, Too Much Information, but I pee myself at least a little every day lol. If your water actually broke it would a steady stream, not just occasional gushes.
