TMI: sex on your period?

I enjoyed it before my birth control when I had bleeding/cramping/etc. It made my periods go faster (bleeding wise ended faster), relieved my cramps/back pain, and helped with my mood.

Husband doesn’t really mind. It’s not his specific thing but he also appreciates not going without sex lol. Shower makes it easy but otherwise put a towel down…no big deal.

That said, I have kyleena now and virtually no periods. Honestly, I think some of the most enjoyable moments have been during that time since, for me, the orgasms were more intense during that time. Unfortunately, don’t get that anymore since the IUD but it is nice having next to no bleeding and rarely ever cramps.

I don’t think it’s gross and used to do it all the time with my ex. Husband was freaked out at first but I think with time he’s come around to the idea. Also, continuing the Too Much Information, multiple times I have gotten my period when we are having sex… I’ve never told anyone before haha awkward!

We do it all the time. I have friends whose boyfriends/husband won’t, though. My SO says they need to grow up lol.

Yuck. Sex induced my period once and sex felt amazing until I realized that all that “lube” was blood once the lights were turned on. DH was completely grossed out and immediately jumped in the shower. Awwwwwkward.

Hell yes! It’s great! If a guy expects to jizz in you, he sure as hell can deal with some blood. Throw a dark towel down, have some baby wipes on hand for clean up and you’re good to go

I don’t mind it but my boyfriend says it feels a lot different (he used the word gritty which is gross lol) so we don’t. Plus he HATES blood and that’s all he can think about the few times he has tried when I’m on my period lol

My SO won’t do it which really makes me sad. All my past boyfriends have had no issue with it so I never felt ashamed about it. My SO now makes me ashamed and I don’t even tell him anymore when I’m on it and we still have sex without him even knowing lol. He’s full of crap about it.

calypsogoddess70 :  says the girl who just made a post about wanting to leave her husband because she wants to sleep around and went into a marriage knowing it wouldn’t last… but that’s not gross at all.

We’re all good with it. Usually just put a towel down. Sometimes we use it as an opportunity to get into the shower together. 🙂

I usually wait it out because I’m on the Pill, I get intense periods with cramping that last around 3-4 days and my husband thinks it’s too messy and not into it.

I have had it before on lighter days which was fine.. It didn’t feel drastically different. I wouldn’t do it a on a heavy day though because the last thing I want to do is the laundry 😂

Yep, in fact I’ve been known to ask for it to help with my cramps from time to time! I don’t think it’s gross at all. It’s natural and part of life. Luckily, Fiance agrees with me on that and we’ve never had an issue. 🙂
