This is so Too Much Information but I’m stressing so much over it that I wanted to get some feedback. Ok, here goes:
My nipples are really sore. There. How’s that for too much info?
They have been since Friday. I’m terrified I’m pregnant. Miss Flow due in about a week. I’m on an oral contaceptive and have not made any changes with it lately. The guy I’ve been with and myself do not use any other form of protection besides the pill and we did the deed the day before I hit my peak fertility, but not during my peak fertility.
I don’t typically experience this unless there has been some kind of intense action on the girls (again, TMI) and I had not been with the man in question for a significant amount of time when I first noticed this. I have, however, been really stressed lately and I did do a lot of heavy lifting/moving of boxes in a tight, constrictive shirt at work the day I first noticed this.
What do you ladies think? Am I overreacting about the pregnancy thing? I won’t go into details but getting pregnant is like, the worst possible thing that could happen to me right now. Is intense stress known to cause enough hormonal fluctuation to make your nipples sore?

I think its just stress, hormonal fluctuations, and perhaps the lifting in the constrictive outfits!
The stress may even delay your period and freak you out even more 🙂 Best you could do is test when the time is right, just to be sure !

stress does this to me a lot. it has even made me nauseous and made me skip periods, but im certainly not pregnant

I think it’s pretty normal for them to get sore every once in a while. Mine were a few weeks ago for about 3 or 4 days. No biggie. If you are scared you are pregnant though just wait it out until your period or when you are supposed to get it. Don’t worry yourself sick.

Mine get sore sometimes too. Just before Aunt Flow arrives. I wouldn’t stress to mmuch find ways to relax its just hormones. Stress can cause you to skip or be late and that would really stress you out so grab a cosmo and a good book and hit the porch or do whatever it is you want for some “me” time. The girls will thank you for it and its nice to relax once and awhile anyways

Sore nips and pregnant boobs are two different things, in my experience. When pregnant, breasts hurt like they’re so full they could explode. If your breasts ever hurt when you’re PMSing multiply that feeling many times to understand pregnant breasts. Sore nipples can be caused by many things – different bra, clothing, rough sex play etc. Unless the entire breast (both) hurts a lot, I don’t think you need to worry about pregnancy.

Well if this helps, my nipples have been hurting for a good 2 weeks. Couldn’t sleep on my stomach and it hurt to hug my Fiance without them causing me problems, never hurt me before. Was thinking I might be pregnant, but AF arrived a few days later than normal. If you are on the pill and taking it at the same time everyday, I’m sure you have nothing to worry about.

i’d suggest getting a test.
might happen cos of stress, as well.

A few months ago, I had crazy sore boobs – like I couldn’t take a shower without them hurting. I’ve been on the same bc pill for years, so I knew it wasn’t due to a switch in pills, and I was terrified that I was pregnant. But I wasn’t! Took two tests – both negative – and got my period right on time. It’s still a mystery, but I think sometimes these things just happen.

Mine were sore for a week about two months ago. We did nothing rough, we hadn’t had sex (we weren’t active so I could auto rule that out), and it wasn’t due to my period. I coudl barely let the water from the shower hit them. I still don’t know why…I am thinking stress because stress does some weird things to your body, but it passed and hasn’t happened again.
Don’t sweat it. If you miss your period, take a test, but don’t panic before then.

High estrogen. I was estrogen dominant and mine hurt all the time.
