It’s the sugar.

It happens to me when I drink soda, so I had to stop.

Well, that, and the fact that my kidneys were bailing on me.

But seriously, the quickest way for me to lose 5 pounds is to drink a fucking Coke.

Is it dairy you are sensitive to or the caffeine?

@JessMorgan777:  I used to do that with Dukin Donuts coffee back home if I felt like I had tummy problems I would buy an iced coffee and 15 minutes later it would be taken care of.  (Sometimes I think I have IBS.  I should prob get it checked out if I ever get health insurance.)  I have a sensitivity to dairy but coffee works for this problem for the most part.  Dukin Donuts always did the trick though!

@HelleCat:  I don’t like those pre-mixed ones they taste funny, maybe its some additive that they have to the stuff won’t seperate while its sitting on the shelf?  Like commercially made chocolate milk.

@julies1949:  I am like that too.  In my case it can be explained by this comic:

Mhm, I get that way sometimes with dairy products. I just try to stay away from them as much as I can.

I am pretty sure coffee is actually a laxative. I have a friend who always brought cheap coffee on vacation to keep her “regular.” I teased her because she brough ground coffee to Columbia but she swears by the local store brand and was afraid switching the coffee would not work.

Happens to me too, I’m pretty sure I’ve just randomly become sensitve to caffeine in the last like 2 years.
