I also find this very odd, to be honest. I do a little trimming, but just the “top” part, not down under. And sometimes I get lazy and don’t do any maintenance for a while, but I NEVER get pee on the hair and it never goes anywhere but straight down into the toilet!?!?! Although I am definitely not very hairy in general so maybe I have less hair down there than is typical?

I don’t understand how that  is physically possible or how you have to be shaped for that to happen. I get a monthly Brazilian wax. I swear by it and I will NEVER use a razor down there ever again. I might invest in laser soon though I’ve had great results with it on other body parts.

I read this and laughed.   I am all natural,  used to trim it and once a year will shave my hair.

I don’t notice when I pee,  however yes the dried blood on it is a bit messy but when washed in water it is all fine.

Nature wanted us to have pubic hair, hair on legs and under arms.  I shave my arm pits.

@MissMarple:  That’s the thing…it lasts so much longer so they charge more. For people who go regularly, it evens out the same (and eventually less when it stops growing back). I will never shave again because of the bumps and how fast it grows back.

I’m lucky because I have a mobile lady who comes to my house and charges me a pittance. She’s not associated with a salon so she does everything cheap! Otherwise I’d be a offput by the inital $90 price tag too. She charges me $25.

I don’t want to comment on the pubic hair. I just want to say I so love your dad. And reading your story makes me miss mine like hell. So, assuming you still have him, love him extra for those of us who have lost our super cool dads. K?

@MrsPanda99:  I’ve always wanted to try sugaring! It sounds amazing… I can’t do it though 🙁 my salon told me it’s not good for people that get yeast infections because sugar breeds yeast like crazy. So alas I’ll just remain jealous of my non-yeasty friends that have it done!

MrsTangerine:  I might be a little late to the party but I have the same problem (without being overweight) so I googled it and found this forum.

Firstly, I find it interesting with the theories about spreading the legs more and leaning forward a bit. I will try that.

Secondly, I wanted to add other ideas I’ve had. One is that, before we had the society we have today, we used to squat in a bush and not sit on a toilet as we do today:P Another is that, believe it or not, women’s urethras can “sit” anywhere!  I just learned this from an urologist a few weeks ago (and I’m 24!) and that is that some peeholes are very low and almost at the vagina. Some women have it very close up to clitoris. Some have it in the middle, and so on. My urethra is very low AND it is somewhat pointed forward and not down, so I’m thinking that when I pee, it is not rare that it showers my whole vagina, rofl =/ I believe this is because of genetics + not squatting as “we used to do”(?) – there are actually Japanese toilets that allow you to squat. Anyhow, I am going to try spreading my legs more and lean forward now since I don’t want to do it in the bushes or live in Japan atm, haha.

Sorry for weird language use. I’m Swedish.

One word: Nair! The one for bikini area…put the cream on, I leave it on for about 12mins, it says 10-15mins I believe, wipe it off and the hair is gone. Then shower afterwards to get the remains of the cream off. Super easy and pain free!

If I am lazy and skip trimming/shaving I dont usually have an issue unless its period time…then I fell yucky. But thats probably because I use pads. I actually trim down there once or twice a month. But I am never completely bare…I would be super bumpy with so many ingrown hairs and itch like crazy. But I do trim as close as possible without irrating myself. And even with the minimal hair still present I don’t have problems with urine, etc.

Um….what???? I used to let it grow out when I was younger, and I’ve never had that problem.  Its called wiping..lol. if you have that much of an aversion to it you might have a phobia, which is all in your head

I’m just impressed that you can get away with shaving once or twice a month.

As I admitted previously, I am a hairy man beast. If I didn’t epilate or wax a little bit of my legs/underarms/bikini line every day, the hair would just take over. Within a few weeks, I would probably look like a gorilla.

I mean, I probably wax my FACE once or twice a month, for crying out loud.

But in answer to your question, I keep on top of the waxing and the trimming, so I’ve never had this problem.

i feel like maybe your pubic hair grows in thicker and faster than mine because i have went 2 months or more when i was pregnant and my bush has never been soaked by pee lol.
