@SpharmD:  I think the etsy belt looks amazing! Of course it can be a bit of a gamble, but if you check that the returns policy is fair, just in case the belt dosent work.

And your dress is beautiful! Smile

I think you should definitely go for the beaded belt! I think the structured belt will define your tiny waist even more than the belt the dress comes with. Also, the etsy belt kind of has a vintagey beaded vibe, which matches the lacy vintage-ness of the dress.

I also like the beaded belt. It accentuates your figure more and you definately have a figure that shoukd have attention drawn to it!  I also think it is “cleaner” than the sash.

    Either look great…

I VOTED for the Beaded Belt.

But the beaded belt will make the dress look even more elegant…

Does that correspond with the theme / feeling you are setting for your Wedding ?

In My Humble Opinion  i think the belt that comes with the dress looks a little dated vs. the beaded etsy belt.  my gown came with a big flower on the sash and i ended up purchasing a crystal sash on etsy and having it sewn into my gown.  soooo glad that i did.  i shopped and shopped and shoooooopppped for that sash.  it ended up being one of my favorite things about my wedding day look.  it brought out my personality a little bit while adding a personal touch to my gown!

i agree with PPs  that if the etsy shop has reasonable returns policy then it’s worth buying to try it out!

IDK which shop the sash you have pictured is from, but I bought mine from a store called “Something Ivory”  and I was VERY happy with the product I received.

@SpharmD:  I think you should go with whatever is more your style.  It seemes like you are leaning more toward the beaded belt (which is beutiful).  Also, your venue is gorgeous!

@SpharmD:  I personally think that a beaded sash would take away from the rest of the dress. The plain sash looks perfect.

@SpharmD:  I think the beaded sash would look lovely with your dress! The sash you have on isn’t doing too much for the dress and I think the other would emphasize your waist more!

you could take your gown to a large bridal store and tell them you are shopping for accessories and just check what sashes look like.

    I agree completely.

There is a reason the designer included that stunning plain sash with the sparkling accent on it with that dress. It is the element that puts the perfect finishing touch on — adds the right amount of drama to — that beautiful, very textured lace gown.

I normally would choose a sparkling sash over a plain sash, all other things being equal and the dress not having a lot of texture in the area where the sash will sit. However, that isn’t the case with your dress. I think the sash you have is the one you should wear.
