I am toying with the idea of trimming my front pieces of hair into a dramatic side bang now that my wedding is over! You can see how I part my hair in this photo from my wedding day.
My face is so wide I worry about adding bulk, but sometimes I think the sidebang looks cute/slimming.
Here are some bangs I love:

First of all, your face is NOT wide!
Second, I think you should totally do it. It will be a fun change, and is not a huge commitment – if you don’t like it, you can pin it back until it grows out in a month or two.

Girl, you have the face for it!!! Do it! 🙂

Thats why i got swoop bangs, I think my fae is too round. I have had them for about 7 years now and I have to have them or i think i look stupid. I think bangs would look cute, But start off longer then cut them shorter if you want.

Do it. If you don’t like it, well, hair grows back. 🙂 I bet it’ll look great, though.

Go for it! Worst case, you don’t like it and you pin it back for a bit. FWIW, I thnk it will be cute!

I don’t think you have a particularly wide face (I do).
Go for longer bangs to start. Then, if you hate them, you can grow it out in a couple of months to tuck behind your ears and eventually work into your layers. If you love it, go shorter and shorter 🙂
I personally think you’d look awesome with bangs!

It’ll look cute! I went without bangs for about 15 years after being traummatized as a kid, then one day decided to give side bangs a try. It turned out super cute.
