- Wedding: March 2010
So since getting married on 3-13-10 i’m now in wedding bliss, went on the honeymoon and created a “nest”. Next project, babies! But in the meantime, I can’t help but continue to read the wedding blogs and think “oh why didn’t i do that” or “when am i going to have another event to plan?”. I miss the entire process so much that I seriously look at my wedding pics on a daily basis!
I understand that some of the things about the day i can’t change, but the one regret that i did have was that about 2.5 hours into the wedding, my makeup started to fade and all my flaws were so prominent! My bridesmaids at that point were too busy downing pinot grigio to notice and touch me up. After the entire wedding process, I did a session with airbrush makeup. Holy cow! That stuff lasted all day! I looked so good 8 hours later I didnt’ want to take my makeup off to go to bed. My sister did the makeup http://www.weddingwire.com/biz/makeup-by-myriam-los-angeles/7e500229dbc1bf7b.html
and I totally wish she could have done it the day of the wedding 🙁 because you can see my flaws in the wedding pics. There goes all that money we paid for a fabulous photographer! UUUUM can we say photoshop?!
I usually am not picky about things like that and I’ll move on….but the more I look at pics of flawless brides after the fact, the more i wish i would have given airbrush makeup a chance during my trial run. Today i’ve figured out how I can continue to dabble in the creative aspect of the bridal world and decided, it’s time to start my own business. I’ll probably have something on ETSY.com but I’m so happy that I enjoyed every minute of the planning process.
