- Wedding: April 2013
One of my cousins is getting married in early March. He’s already contacted me and asked for my address for the invite and asked that I keep that weekend open. I’ve also been asked by his dad to help cook the rehersal dinner.
Thing is, the wedding is less than 3 weeks from now and I still have no invite. I asked his sister about it and was told no one has one yet, including the groom’s parents (she suspects the bride doesn’t know the etique for invites and timing).
So the question is: from the above I am pretty certain I am invited. However, hubby thinks, and I agree, that we aren’t giving up a weekend to travel to somethign we were not formally invited to (we’re in the thick of house hunting, weekends are important!). So, should I ask my cousin about the invites or just leave it be? If I should ask how should I word it?
