I think it looks nice strapless but I know exactly how you’re feeling right now. I picked a strapless dress and ended up having it altered to add cap sleeves and everyone I knew thought I was a bit crazy for it. Ultimately though, I like how it turned out. I say if you want sleeves, definitely go for it! And just in case you might not want them to be on all night, you could always see if your alterations person could make them detachable. 🙂

It’s beautiful as it is, but I always worry about, um, “busting out” of a strapless dress. If you’re concerned about that at all, I’d go with straps.

I love your dress the way it is. Straps would probably look like you just threw them on. Your gown is meant to be strapless!

I love the straps with the little bit of bling up the side. If they can do that and match your dress, I think it would be gorgeous!

I say keep it strapless.  Looks great!  Very similar to a gown I almost bought – Allure 8919!  I also was going to add a sparkly belt!

Oh,  no, don’t add straps! You dress is SO beautiful the way it is!

I also thought I would never buy strapless. I have very small boobs and I thought I would not look good in strapless BUT 99% of the dresses are strapless and I kind of accepted the idea. Your looks great as is!

It looks gorgeous strapless. I also think it could look really nice with thin spaghetti straps added.

Is it a paloma gown? I am wearing paloma as well and love it! the material is so nice!!

@7monthbride:  If that’s a Paloma, you made a GREAT choice!! I have a Paloma gown and I’m doing an illusion jacket for the church.  If you feel more comfortable with straps then go for it!

If your original vision for a dress was one with straps, then I say go for it!  I think the straps would look lovely with your dress and make it uniquely yours.
