I’ve been growing my hair out for the wedding and its been an embarrassingly long time since its last seen a pair of scissors. I’m trying to figure out when is the best time to go to make sure the ends are nice and neat but I still have all the length I worked so hard for. Since I am not at all hair savvy, I figured I’d check in with you all 🙂

You should be getting your hair trimmed regularly, since when you finally go in with your ends all crazy, they’ll take more off than they would have if you’d gone for maintenance visits through your entire engagement. Just a thought. I had jacked up looking hair when I tried to grow it out, so i got some nice layers put in that made it look longer, healthier, and basically not like junk.

I just had my final trim a week ago and my wedding isn’t till July. I want my hair as long as possible and I dont usually get bad split ends so I figured I’d just do it now.

i already had decently long hair, but am growing it all out as well as my bangs. i am getting semi-regular trims, every couple of months, but will probably get that last trim in the week or two prior. i figure that with the regular trims, i shouldn’t need more than a tiny bit snipped off right there at the end, so i’ll still have the length.
