Pretty dress! People here seem to love belts on wedding dresses. I don’t. A pretty dress doesn’t need a belt. Yours is gorgeous without.

I’m having the same dilemma, but my dress is a lot less detailed than yours. In this case I say no belt.

    PS. your veil is beautiful!

I feel like the ribbon is already the belt. No belt!

The ribbon around the waist is a beautiful built in belt! 🙂 I feel like the point of a belt is to help show off your waist when the dress doesn’t do it on it’s own. Your dress definitely gives you a lovely waist line!

MsElle:  I definitely think some bling would be perfect just not a fan of the belt you’ve got on in the picture.  My dress had a sewn in belt as well, I wanted a sash in addition but decided to just purchase an applique and had my seamstress set it onto the exsisiting belt areadly. Below are the appliques I bought online.

Sorry for the crappy pictures but here is the top applique sewn into my dress’ belt.

I have mixed feelings on belts. In your case I say do a belt – the dress already has the “line” for it and that will just add some wow factor!
