I’ve decided to DIY the bridal party bouquets with foam flowers. I wanted a certain soft romantic look to them. Then I let Fiance and bridesmaids convince me to add some “blings” to the bouquets. So I added some rhinestones and crytal picks but I’m not sure I’m liking the final look.
Here is a look of the bouquets without the picks. This is my bouquet:
All the bouquets together (the ivory for Bridesmaid or Best Man and the top one for the Maid/Matron of Honor:
Now with the bling. My bouquet:

So your opinion Bees, to bling or not to bling???

Oh, bling them! I was worried until I scrolled down and saw the pictures. I think it’s just enough sparkle to give a classy look without being over the top.

They really look good both ways. Just wanted to say your flowers are lovely!

I like it with the bling best. They look pretty cool.

I like the bling! It gives your bouquets a little sparkle but it’s still subtle enough so as not to be flashy.

Such beautiful bouquets! I voted for don’t bling them. I think they look absolutely gorgeous without the bling. You said you’re not sure about the final look, could it be that there is a stone in every single flower? That’s what kind of throws me off about them. Could you maybe only put them here or there? Or try putting something in between some of the flowers? I think it will look great no mater what you choose! I love DIY bouquets!!

Wow, the foam flowers actually look fabulous! I say bling them, it is subtle enough!

Sorry, I don’t like the bling. Or, I don’t like them placed right in the middle. I like them plain, because they look just a touch different from real flowers. But with the bling in the middle, the whole arrangement looks more fake than I like (totally my own opinion!)
I don’t mind the bridesmaid bouquets that are white with the clear rhinestones- maybe you could find pink rhinestones for your bouquet? I think that would look more subtle.
btw, I never knew about foam flowers- yours look really good : )

I’m not a huge fan of bling IN flowers but yours don’t look bad. Maybe bling the ribbon wrapped on the stems if the BM’s want bling and you don’t want them in the flowers.
Never heard of foam flowers either but that’s AWESOME!!

I think they’re so much more beautiful without the bling, plus if you like them better that way I think you should leave the bling out. I’m not a huge fan of bling in general though. Ultimately, I think you should go with what you think looks best since it’s your wedding and you’re making them. 🙂

Thanks Bees for the feedbacks! The bling will come out of my bouquet. I’ll leave some in the Maid/Matron of Honor bouquet and the Bridesmaid or Best Man can have their blings. I agree with @Double_rainbow: it does look more subtle in their bouquets.

@Double_rainbow: I totally agree with this! I don’t really know what foam flowers are but they look really nice. The bling makes them stand out as fake though. Skip the bling.

I really dislike the bling. They look really fake.
But, I’m surprised at how nice the foam flowers look on their own!
