I like wordpress as a free blog.  You get your own name as yourname.wordpress.com for free with them.

Try blogspot. It’s free and you an come up with whatever name you want as long as someone else hasn’t already picked it.

I think the most popular ones are blogspot( I use that) and wordpress.. both free.  I don’t know about any other ones.

Try Blogger and WordPress. In fact, register the same name on both, since they’re the both most commonly used–that way, if you want to use that name, someone else cant use it on the other site!

I would suggest you also start looking for free themes to match your blog’s personality, too. Try googling “blogger themes” or examining those on wordpress (it costs $ to change the layout to one that isn’t theirs). And keep a running list of blogs!

If you decide the blog world isn’t for you, you could always carry around a moleskine notebook to doodle and write in… I do that when I’m away from my laptop!

I don’t have any advice for that.  No one read my blog and I haven’t updated it in months.

I like blogger personally. You can always send out a link to your blog out here on the hive and see how people respond to it; the ladies can be very helpful with advice, comments, and the like!

    Like 50 cent, but 50 sciz 🙂

Seriously though, I really enjoy wordpres.  I like the add-ons, the spam blocker, the comment system, the customization – all of it!
