Can you google the designed/style number to find out just how limited that particular dress is?

Perhaps it is available at a few places and you don’t need to feel so much pressure to buy ASAP

Can you show us a photo of the dress? Is it something out of this world unusual or are you likely to find another one similar to it if you wait?

In a year there will be soooo many more new trends coming up. not only style but also materials. So if I were you, I would wait. It was the best decision for me to wait dress shopping until 6 months before the wedding day. I could really try on all the classics and the latest trend and compare everything n finally found the one.

vittring :  okay if you love the material and the craftmanship, i guess making a custom will not be an option. Another seamstress might not be able to find the exact material or use different approach to create the exact same design. However if it’s just the design of the dress that makes you go head over heels, then making a custom one is still an option. But I totally understand your dilemma, Bee!

Definitely wait. As you start looking your idea of what you want might change. I had a long engagement too, so I know how hard it is.
