To buy or not to buy the invites online?

Minted is great! They look gorgeous and are really high quality – and you can add things like letterpress, custom foil, etc. so you can get that really high end look if that’s what you’re going for

I refuse to spend a ton on something people will just throw away, so I went super cheap.  We got ours from Vistaprint for 50% off.  We got our invites, RSVP cards, and matching envelopes for both for $106.  I’m really happy with them for that price.

I’ll mirror what others said, the customer service was outstanding.  I would have preferred not to have a problem in the first place (something happened where all of our RSVPs were ripped), but they handled the problem without question.

cloud9bride :  I found a free template online and made my own, it was a bit more “hassle” figuring how to do it etc but much cheaper and I quite like that I’ll be able to say we made them

We just used vistaprint. Super easy to use and inexpensive. To us, it wasn’t worth the extra cost for a fancier invitation/envelope as people tend to just throw them out, but it depends what you want to prioritize. We saved in a few areas to upgrade on others (like having an open bar with high quality liquor).

I love the Minted all-in-one designs. My partner’s mom is a graphic designer and will do our stationery, but if she wasn’t an option, I’d go with one from Minted!

We ordered from Vista Print.

Overall, we were really happy with them! Came quickly and a nice quality to them!

Another vote for Vistaprint! I bought a custom design off of etsy for pretty cheap and then printed with Vistaprint (also on a 50% off sale!) on their linen paper. I would highly recommend the linen paper, its so nice, and multiple people have assumed I got my invitations from Minted.

As others have said, the envelopes they include for free are awful, but I found some nice quality cheaper ones locally. Also, for some reason the smaller RSVP card size tend to be the same price to print as a larger invitation. The seller I bought my design from on etsy was kind enough to mock up my RSVP card as to fit two on one 5×7 so I could print for half the cost and cut myself and this worked out really well!

I ordered from Basic Invite only because they would let me order only 3 invites. 2 for our witnesses and 1 to frame 🙂 The quality was great!

I didn’t order my wedding invitations online, I went with a local custom vendor, but my mom used Basic Invite for my bridal shower and they looked great! She also raved about their customer service.

I plan on using Vistaprint as well so I’m super happy to see all the good reviews! Invites are not something I wish to spend a ton of money on because eventually they’re going to end up in the trash.
