Call. Or you will have people showing up that didn’t RSVP. But wait a few days until after the deadline because some people send their RSVPs on the deadline.

Good luck!

Can you email? Maybe just, a little reminder?

Are you hosting your own shower?  Whoever is hosting should call unless you’ve got wiggle room for 35 people for seating and food.

If your Fiance wants to call them, let him! Otherwise, I would stay out of calling them for their RSVP.

I would email but I would wait until the day after the RSVP deadline. I didnt RSVP to an upcoming bridal shower yet and the RSVP date isnt until the 30th…the bridal emailed me 3 days ago!! I was definitely annoyed because I knew I hadnt missed the date!

I would not call them.  This is why I hate sending token invites to relatives that I either dont know or havent seen in forever.  It makes things so difficult because you need a count and they cant be bothered to respond.  count them all as no unless your Fiance wants to call them all to check.

I would try to email them or call them, that’s a LOT of people to not know if they are coming or not, and I do think many of them will come. It’s easier to know so you have enough food etc.

Even if they are rude for not RSVPing, I think it won’t reflect well on you if they think you are hounding them to come to an event that is essentially about them giving you presents.

If your Fiance can ask for some word-of-mouth feedback as to whether or not that crew is actually planning to come, I don’t think anyone would mind, and you can get a better approximation.  It’s a good idea to have room and food for a few unexpected guests either way.

We called everybody the day after the RSVP date. But to make it easier, we had whoever’s guest it was call the person, splitting it between me, my husband, my mom, and my Mother-In-Law.
