I am, but only because it was included at the venue. Other than that, I would probably skip.

Chargers are nice but not necessary.

Rentals will only be a reasonable price of you can get them fairly locally. Shipping can be expensive as that many chargers would weigh quite a bit. Having no idea where you live, I can’t make specific suggestions.

You could try http://www.adhuntr.com to purchase used ones from another bride. You can narrow down the results by geographic area so you could pick them up instead of shipping.

OMG I can’t believe that the chargers are $800 extra!! Our stylist threw in our chargers for free!! Otherwise they are $1 per plate.

I think that they look so amazing, but I would not pay an extra $800 for them.

lisjan22:  Chargers are expensive but so pretty! Fiance and I are renting ours and they’re $4 apiece! We’re renting 75 of them, so an extra $300. I don’t think that is too expensive since we’re already paying 2K for rentals – I figured what’s another $300? Below is a picture of our plate and charger:

Girl, let me help. What are you looking for, exactly? I love this challenge.

We did a destination wedding and went with coordinated napkins with elegant napkin rings, as well as menus, gifts, and placecard holders at each seat. Just easier to travel with-I had to talk myself out of chargers!

Send me a message. Hope I can help!

lisjan22: I had my heart set on gold chargers when I first started wedding planning. I actually ended up deciding not to use chargers (or anything gold for that matter), but at the time, I did a ton of research to try to find affordable ones. I think the cheapest rentals I could find were about $7/each. Craziness!

Like someone else said, they sell them at Hobby Lobby and usually have a pretty decent selection of colors. And you can always find Hobby Lobby coupons online! I have also seen chargers very recently at both Dollar Tree and Michael’s.

Dollar Tree: http://www.dollartree.com/Gold-Plastic-Chargers-with-Beaded-Rims-13-/p341718/index.pro (It says out of stock online, but I definitely saw them in the store.)

Michael’s: http://www.michaels.com/search?q=charger (Most of these say online only, but I know I’ve seen them, or at least similar chargers, in the store.)

What color/style are you looking for?
