That’s the thing with these gorgeous clutches…Unlike the dress and veil and stuff, the clutch is something that one will definitely use again at other weddings and cocktail parties. Hmmmm.

(Watch me talk myself into justifying a $105 clutch! )

@baffled111~ I don’t need a reason to justify a purse purchase, but one for this purpose is just lost on me! 🙂 Though I was looking at the JCrew lookbook today and they are debuting a KILLER feather cluth this Fall. OMG. I could totally use that!

I barely ever carry a purse anyway, so I had no hope of carrying it (read: keep track of it) on my wedding day. My mom and I put a bag together with lipstick, brushes, shawls etc under my table ahead of time in case I needed something. I never even thought about the bag let alone used anything in it.

I think I’ll use a clutch. I’ll want lipgloss at least!

I guess it wasn’t technically a clutch b/c it had a handle on it.  But I did not open it once.  I sort of knew that would happen, but I wanted to carry it anyway.  It’s actually the purse my mom carried on her wedding…and it was gold and happened to match my gold petticoat exactly.  My grandfather brought it back from Japan for her.  It’s still in pretty good condition actually.

    I want a dress with pockets! If I have a clutch, I know I’ll lose it. :p
