I could either have my wedding/reception at my church, and have no dancing (for religious reasons), or go elsewhere to be able to dance.
What do you think? Is dancing at your wedding THAT crucial, or should I just save my money and have a playlist of all my favorite wedding songs to play during the reception?? (music IS allowed lol)

You can dance if you want to and your heart is not set on the church =) but if your not too worried about it I’d just have music playing while people eat and have a shorter reception.

Depends on what your crowd is like… and you & your FI’s personalities. No dancing usually makes a reception a lot shorter too. I know it’s a must for our reception.. I love dancing and music too much to not have it, and so does Fiance.

Yeah the church is kinda sentimental, and I’m a tightwad so anything that saves money is a huge plus. My Fiance is extremely shy, so I am sure he would be less than heartbroken with no dancing LOL! In a perfect world we would dance lots, and he wouldn’t be shy, but I’m really not used to all attention on me either.
I’ll probably keep all options open. Thanks ladies!
