We are going to Hawaii for 3 weeks to prepare/enjoy our destination wedding… then going on a cruise to Mexico for a week. We have two days (1 night) in LA before we fly back to Aus & I’m wondering if you guys think we should spend those two days at Disney? It’ll be quick, but I think it will be so fun to do a couple days at Disneyland? What do ya’ll think?
Also – if anyone has been to Disneyland for their honeymoon, could you give me some tips or tell me special things they do for you? Thank u!!!

I enjoyed Universal Studios alot more than Disney, try to get a fast pass though

I guess it depends on if you want to go to Disneyland or not. I personally would not enjoy it but if Disney is your thing, go for it. Why not?

My husband and I went to Disneyworld for our honeymoon and we had a BLAST! We wore buttons that signaled we were on our honeymoon and everywhere we went we received “Congratulations!” from strangers and workers, it was really fun! Besides the fact that if you mention you are on your honeymoon we got lots of free drinks!
I’m not a Disney ‘freak’ but I do enjoy Disney, and most of all, we (hubby and I) enjoyed being able to ride fun rides, relax by the pool, and enjoyed together as a whole. We did stay for a week, but I still think you should go even if it was for a few days!
**EDIT** I guess I should add that we went in the begining of May so the crowds were slim and children were at a rather low level.

it sounds like you are going to Mexico for the honeymoon, no? It all sounds so wonderful. If you like kids and lots of noise, then sure I would go, if not I wouldn’t.

We are going to Mexico for our honeymoon but we have 2 days in LA before we fly home to Australia. We’re not “Disney freaks” by ANY means, we just don’t have anything like Disney here in Aus so it’s just the novelty of it. We don’t mind kids 🙂 Maybe the rides at Universal would be more fun though. And the Citywalk Restaurants and bars look fun… hmmm! 🙂 Thanks for your advice ladies xo

Yayyy Disneyland! : )
@JessMorgan777: Did you really? When I went with my family (granted, this was years ago — like, 2003?), Universal Studios was kind of crap-tastic. The only rides were the Jurassic Park ride & Back to the Future (and it was cold, so we didn’t want to get wet on the Justice of the Peace water ride!). Plus, we took the shuttle, so after we’d gone on the tour and watched the water show and gone on the Back to the Future ride two or three times, there was nothing to do!

@Jenniphyr: We went last year and neither of those rides are running anymore. There was a big fire and they tore down and rebuilt in 2008. I rather enjoy the visual effect type of rides and we got to tour the sets of Desparate Housewives, War of the Worlds, and the original set for Psycho.
