Hey date twin. Yep we are in the same boat, still lots to do yet. During January I need too:

Buy wedding shoes

Buy under garments

Select items for bridal shower registry

Find and buy a dress for bridal shower

Post invites for Bridal shower

Have meeting with Maid/Matron of Honor about bridal shower and hens night (then leave her to it)

Set up gift registry for wedding

Drop off cake stand and approve final cake design

Order wedding signs from etsy

Ask my bridesmaids to start looking for their shoes

Order ring bearer block from etsy for wedding rings

Continue with beauty and fittness routine

Phew I think thats it for January!

Its getting crazy thats for sure but the more I do now the better.

In progress:

-Groom and Best Man suits should arrive in the mail today (!)
-Ties for dads bought, just need to have them pick (I got a selection for them to choose from)
-Found a bustier that works for under my dress, just need to wait until it comes back in stock in my size/color to order it
-Making 50+ Martha Stewart coffee filter roses for centerpieces and bouquets
-Gathering stuff for ceremony decor
-Creating a day-of timeline
-Talking with my cousin, who is baking our cake, about cake designs and flavors
-Making reception playlists (iTunes reception)

Still to do:

-Get guestbook and pen
-Get garter from my dad’s house (using my mom’s)
-Buy silk greenery to fill out centerpieces and bouquets
-Programs, place cards, table numbers, etc.
-Buy enough vases for all the centerpieces
-Buy Mr. & Mrs. letters for head table
-Choose menu with caterer
-Choose wines with venue
-Choose beer
-Write the ceremony — readings, vows, etc.
-Dress alterations
-Get bow ties for groom and best man
-Get MOH’s jewelry and hair accessories
-Figure out what Future Father-In-Law and Future Mother-In-Law and my grandma are wearing
-Find “friendors” to be emcee and hair/makeup people
-Print & put together invitations
-Buy stamps before the price goes up again
-Book bridal party hotel rooms for wedding weekend
-Figure out rehearsal dinner & day-after brunch
-Finish registry
-Buy groom’s wedding band

And probably a lot more I’m forgetting…gosh there are so many details to remember!!

AHHHH!!!! You ladies are all getting married at the end of June! After reading all of your “Done” items I am freaking out a bit.

January begins taste testing and premarital couselling. Following that invites can be ordered since we will know the food choices (plated dinner). All the big things are done.

  • Still looking for Unity Candles… suggestions welcome!
  • Need to make the place card board
  • Need to make the wedding wishes cards
  • Order the guys tuxes
  • Get Groomsmen gifts since Fiance isn’t being very helpful with this. lol
  • Continue making payments on Vendors
  • Register
  • I am sure I have a ton more, mind went blank….

According to theknot.com’s to-do list, I have 86 thinigs left to do, but that’s including the wedding day stuff that you can’t do just yet, lol. And there’s more aside from that I need to do, so I’d say I have closer to 100ish things left to do, and about only 70ish I can do ahead of time. I’m working on my paper flowers & addressing invites currently. :o)
