Based on those photos, I would save the money and go for DIY. Honestly, if you would have inserted the photo done by the pro in the middle of the bunch and asked us to guess – I would not have been able to spot it. Actually, I would probably just have gone with the last photo as I think that’s the nicest one. 🙂

I see that you’re located on Long Island. I have a great makeup lady who DOES NOT use airbrush! She has done makeup for the stars and did my trial beautifully! The makeup is completely waterproof and she really listens to what you want. Let me know if you’re interested in her info. She’s located in East Meadow but will travel for your wedding day. (I think that if it’s really far, she has a travel fee)

Your makeup looks beautiful when you do it yourself! Especially if you weren’t impressed with the foundation used for the airbrush makeup, you may want to just do it yourself. I think you can go heavier with the blush/bronzer on your wedding day, though, to ensure that you don’t look washed out.

I wish you were there to do my make-up. I pretty much hated my make-up. I thought I could have done just as good of a job myself. The make-up you did yourself looks professionally done.

Here you go http://www.cmartinfaces.com

This is the makeup after my trial… Note that I have a lot of scarring and redness from acne on my chin…

I like the way you do your makeup, just maybe some less-nude lipstick? Somethiing that stands out? Anyways, nice eyes. Smokey eyes are great for weddings

DIY!  maybe invest the money you would’ve spent on something new- makeup wise.  I bought a makeup primer for DIYing mine and loved it.

I think your DIY is as good. But I would go a bit darker on your brows and lips than in some of your pictures.
