So I’m trying to decide if it is worth the $$ and the pain to get a BIKINI WAX!!!?!?! :/ I’ve never had one before and tbh very terrified of it…. I used to get my eyebrows done and could barely handle that! BUT I am tired of shaving (it looks horrible and does not last too long) AND I do not have extra money for laser removal at this moment….
SO what do you ladies think…
to do or not to do…. ?????

If you can endure, do it. I self waxed once. Never again.
Shaving is so much easier.

Yes do it! Maybe start with just a regular bikini, then next time get a brazilian. The pain gets easier. I use deep breathing to get through the worst bits 😉

Yes..it’s so worth the money, but never do it yourself! You can find a good place on groupon/living social…but make sure to Yelp them before you buy.
The pain for me (I get full brazilians) isn’t too bad. I usually take some advil before I go in for my appointments.

I did it once, a Brazilian actually, and it started growing back within 4 days.

I do it for vacations! But I get horrific razor burn when I shave, so I have some serious motivation. But I’m too cheap and wussy to do them on a regular basis. But for a trip to the beach? Absolutely!!!

I don’t even shave I use eletric trimmer for guys the type for side burns and stuff, gives you a very close cut, almost hairless but still hair with no razor bumps. I do it once a week, if I’m wearing a bathing suit I only shave the area where the hair grows where your pantie line stops in your inner thigh not actually in my lady part area.

For me, waxing is not worth the up-keep, I get regrowth too quickly.
I’ve done almost everything you can – shaving, waxing, trimming, epilating, electrolosis, IPL (it’s not permanent). Only thing I haven’t done yet is laser, which is actually permanent.

I’ve just started IPL for a Brazilian and underarms and I can’t wait to finally be hair free:)

@BearyLovely: Agree…I thought I’d get at least a week without stubble! I’d rather shave more frequently and be smooth than endure HELL!! LOL

No for me, i’m a wuss. When I tried legs and underarms for laser hair removal – that was painful too.

@BearyLovely: LOL! It wasn’t worth it for me and I wax other areas frequently…my special parts are way too sensitive!

@Birdi: Honestly, I saw stars when I got it done. I lost my breath. Not worth it, I’d rather whip out the razor!
