I think since it does have other stones in it, the center might look more yellow if you don’t go with the enhancement. Because the pave stones will be really white and so it will show a contrast.

I’m getting an unenhanced moissy but it’s in a bezel setting so I think it throwing funny colors will be less likely..

It really depends on your preference. I chose unenhanced, but that was because I wanted my stone to have some color. I was actually a little sad that it doesn’t look colored, except on really overcast days when I can see a slight green tint.

I think you should get the enhanced, mainly since recent threads on betterthandiamond.com suggest that un enhanced moissys are being coated to make them look whiter since they are running out of whiter moissy.

I’d go with the Amora, actually. But if you can’t get that, FB would be a good second choice. At that size, though, you should do one or the other because the larger they are, the more color it seems they show.

1.25 enhanced FB stone.  I actually like the warmth of it.  I didn’t want it too white.

I have a 1ct amora moissanite, and I think it’s the perfect color.  I only ever see yellow in it when I’m in super yellow light (when I assume that any clear stone would look yellow), but it doesn’t look “cold” either.

@Someday_Mrs_Maguire:  Thanks, yes the side stones are diamond.  Even the band.  Set in palladium a whopping $1,600.

Let me see if I can find the yellowish pic I’ve taken.

I just recently bought a 1.4 unenhanced moissy and ended up sending it back. This picture is side by side with my originial e-ring which is a diamond. The moissy I received was very yellow-so definitely go with the enhanced.
