@mrskisstobe:  I like halos but your jewel is already so large, I wouldn’t add a halo to it.

I think your oval is lovely already. I think that if it were me, I’d get the halo and lose one of the bands. I feel like it might be “too much”, but my taste is def on the simpler side. Here is my oval halo for refbasile. I basically wanted something just a bit more sparkly than a solitaire.

Sorry about the huge pic and weird formatting!

@mrskisstobe:  if you do add a halo, will you change out the whole setting?  i think a thinner band and shank will look better than your current ering band.  i would make sure that it complimented your bands so that you don’t have to change them.

@mrskisstobe:  are you wearing 2 bands with yor set? It’s hard to gauge how the halo will look without knowing for sure what your actual setting is. I love it the way it is so if you won’t a halo, I’m just not sure how awesome it would be on that particular setting Because the band is thick. It could be amazing, though! Maybe find a jewler that can show you how it would look on the computer first. Good luck!

i wouldn’t halo your stone as is, because the shank is so wide. if you were to swap the setting for a more delicate one, then i’d add a halo 🙂 i think you can have one or the other, halo or shank.

but it’s not my ring, so do whatever you like!

@mrskisstobe:  your ring is gorgeous as it is, but if you love halos then go for it. As a PP said though, I would get a thinner band at the same time 🙂

I say go for it!!! I love halos madly, and find they add such elegance to a ring.

i think if you add a halo to that large stone it will look cock-tail ringy

i think you should go halo and a thinner plain band. its a bit to thick the way it is.
