We offered one Chardonnay and one Cabarnet. I’m a white wine drinker and specifically a Chardonnay drinker, but would be fine with Pinot Grigio as a guest. I’d be a little bit frustrated if Riesling was the only option because I HATE sweet wine. I’d rather drink water.

There was a thread about the 2 buck chuck before and the response from the Bees was overwhelingly negative. Personally I like their Shiraz, and find the Chardonnay decent (especially for the value).

@senoritaroll:

Yes the Riesling should be good for your white zin drinkers. I think you have lots of selection picked already though I would swap out the Chardonnay with the Pinot grigio personally.

AT my wedding, no one really drank our Chardonnay. Surprisingly, Whiote ZInfandel went fast I hate white zin). My next choice would;ve been Pinot Grigio…I prefer that over Chardonnay usually.

Sauvignon Blanc!!! Such good price points, most of them time such good flavor.

We offered Chardonnay, White Zin, Maribella, Burgundy, and Almond Champagne. So, two whites and two reds. If I could do it over, I’d do White Zin and Pinot Grigio, and better red wine 🙂

Our group consists of some pretty fanatic wine drinkers and we served a WA Cab, Seven Hills Pinot Gris (Walla Walla) and french Rose.  Per our coordinator we purchased the most of the Cab since people tend to drink more red wine and that was truly the case.  If you want I would offer 2 reds and 1 white, perhaps the Pinot Noir and a cab and then the pinot grigio.  There isn’t a need to offer 2 whites if you stick with a solid selection like the pinot grigio.

And I definitely encourage you to do a tasting…that was the best part…selecting our wedding wines.  Check with your local wine shops (in addition to Costco, etc…) because most will offer you case discounts and can even special order things for you.  There are several fantastic online resources available as well (http://www.avalonwine.com) where you can order some great selections at fantastic prices.

Yes, a lot of cabernet drinkers. It’s one of the most popular red wines and most people like it. 🙂
