I was opposed at first, but am soooo thankful that my hubby insisted.  We just watched our video (once again) on our 1st anniversary last week.  It was wonderful to be able to listen and view our ceremony in it’s entirety.  I highly recommend it…videography captures so much emotion!

Didn’t have one and don’t regret it. Like four people recorded on their cameras anyway, and to tell the truth, I get bored rewatching it. I love pics but video doesn’t really do much for me personally.

Why are you on the fence? If you’re just not sure you want it, you probably don’t but have been made to feel like you should. If you think you want it but don’t know if you should commit the money, do it because you’ll probably regret if you don’t.

Well cognitive dissonance theory tells us that we will almost always rationalize big decisions we make so that we believe they were good decisions, even if they weren’t that great, so I doubt many people in this situation will say that they wish they’d made a different choice.

However, I didn’t have a videographer and I can’t say I missed it at all. Maybe I’ll feel differently in 40 years but we had a strict budget and it just wasn’t the sort of thing I cared much about.

I’m not married yet, will be on Saturday! But I chose not to have a videographer. I just get bored watching other people’s home videos and would rather remember in pictures. But who knows if I’ll regret it later. I didn’t grow up having home videos, so I don’t think I will miss out on having my wedding recorded.
