Probably not.  We left out friends that we hadn’t seen or heard from in a year.  It didn’t make sense to us to include them.

Yeah, if they only live 30 minutes away and you never see them, don’t bother. (It would be different if they were really far, maybe.)

The thing to consider is… would it make a big difference to you if they were there or not? Are you going to be thinking halfway through, “I really wish soandso was here to celebrate with me!” Or do you think you won’t even notice? Good luck! 🙂

I’m not doing it. Fiance and I had a long conversation about the topic. We’ve been together for 7.5 years and of course we’ve had a lot of come-and-go friendships. Since everyone knows how long we’ve been together and at some point were our friends, they think they’ll be invited to our wedding, but having a 217 just family guest list, we’re only inviting really close friends. Either way I haven’t seen most of these people in a long time.
