My advice is to make the appointment (you can always cancel!) but keep looking for dresses in stores near/around you that don’t require you to be flying anywhere! That way you might be lucky and stumble on a dress that you love and decide there is no need for that other dress shop despite your love of you designer!

I was head over heels in love with a dress and determined to try it on but if I waited I may not have been able to get my second choice! In the end my second choice was gorgeous and with some alterations I may be able to make it better that the dream dress!  You don’t want to risk having no dress at all!

In regards to price, are there any other stockists of the dresses you like? You see I went to a fairly upscale bridal boutique and was quoted WAY over my budget! I then went to a bridal boutique that stocked the dress to see if they could do me a better deal, they actually shaved $300 off the price, and into my budget! If thats not a possibility remember that this will be the happiest day of your life, and if your fiance is on board I say go for it!

    I hope my advice helps!
