I ended up purchasing my dream Stuart Weitzman Pomposo shoes and dying them green ( to go with my theme and new last name) but now I am have doubts on keeping them or selling them now that our wedding is over. Do I keep them for memory sake? Did you keep or sell yours? If you kept them, was it for memory or do you wear them? If you sold them, do you regret it.
I cannot decide. I spent around $400 on them between buying them and dying them and I don’t know if I should settle selling them for less to get just a little money back on them, or keep them for piece of mind.
What did you do? Opinions please.

I love your shoes!
Personally I am keeping my shoes so I can wear them again. If I had gone with white/Ivory shoes I deff would have sold them.

Personally, I would keep them. But I have a sentimental attachment to things like that. I still have the shoes I was wearing the first time I met Fiance (His first words to me were “Nice shoes”) even though they are the most uncomfortable things ever!!! I’m debating bringing them with me to the wedding even though they don’t match anything just to get a couple photos in them 🙂 I bet you’ll have more opportunities to wear them or at least you could put them on for your anniversaries! That would be cute!

I don’t have mine yet (but going the same route you went: green heels), and I plan on keeping them for wearing them on a regular basis just like any other pair of shoes I buy.

keep them/ you could wear them again. if you wanted to you could take off the rose to make them look a little less dressy. I love the color!

I would keep them! I have decided that I am going to sell my dress, but keep my shoes and wear them every year on our anniversary (with a new dress to go with them each year, of course!).

Your shoes are amazing! Personally, I’d keep them.
@Westie: I like the idea of keeping the shoes and getting a new dress to wear each year 🙂

Keep them!! You obviously care a lot about them and they will help make your wedding day extra special and fun for you!

I personally am keeping my wedding shoes because I am going to get rid of my dress. The shoes I bought are popular among brides and easily re-saleable, but I would like to keep them to wear on special occasions/as a memento.

I think you should keep them! They would look great with a LBD.
