Our photographer made ours as part of our package but I will be making a fancy one later

@asb983:  I will probably use shutterfly. It’s fairly simple and it’s a good product. I don’t want to spend lots of money on something that I will look at only occassionally. I am also a bigger fan of digital images/albums…so I am biased 🙂

Our photography package also comes with an album included (I’ve just been lazy to pick the photos out). But if it didn’t I think I would go with Shutterfly as well. I’ve heard pretty positive things about them.

We opted for the package where our photographer will make it. We were going to do it ourself and then I realized it would never get done because I’d never have the time to do it correctly. There’s also a big difference In quality of materials used in the photographers albus versus the ones you make online.

Going with our photographer doing it, she does some amazing work from some sample albums she showed us. Although the only complaint is that her albums start at a $1000 with a leather bound album with 65 pics. Think it would have been better if she had included the album as part of her package. So not sure…but then I agree with PP that I won’t have time to do it myself or I wouldn’t do it right. So I may just suck up the cost and get it done by her. Cool

It will depend on what our photographer offers, but I made a little something for my SO using something called Blurb, which I believe is similar to shutterfly, and it was soooo much fun! :] I am pro-shutterfly, too, because my cousin made a beautiful baby book for their son using it. I really like how you can add text (you can do it with Blurb, too).
