I just wanted to say DONT STRESS! I know i stressed so bad about my weight and how i would look in my dress. I did manage to lose 40 lbs (i wanted to hit about 80lbs) but with stressing over the wedding.. It didn’t happen. But i had the best day ever! and even though i wasn’t my ideal weight/size I had an amazing wedding with family & friends.
Here are a few pics 🙂 Got my dress @ Davids Bridal

Let’s face it. Even if I would hit my “ideal weight” for the wedding I would want to lose even more. I tried the whole “push yourself to exhausting measures so you barely have enough energy to plan the wedding but hey, you’ll look amazing” thing. But in the end, I realized I am healthy. I can run a 30 minute 5k, and a 7’50” mile and even though I’m 185 pounds HE STILL LOVES ME. I have a friend on an online weight support group who lost almost 200 pounds. LOST 200 POUNDS. She got married at almost 400 pounds and when she lost all the weight her husband divorced her because she “wasn’t the same woman he had married.” While we strive for this ideal perfect figure, reality and love rank so much higher!
