Hello! I have my dress I love it. It was so far past anything I wanted and everything I swore I hated starting with being strapless! Any who my future Mother-In-Law says I don’t need a sash I think I want one to break up the gown a bit. Just don’t know if i do make a skinny or thick and thin a small applique or one that goes from side to side.
I posted pictures of a few I have made let me know ideas please!!
First the gown with the sash @ the shop don’t mind me I had just got out the shower from a work and was only supposed to get sized haha
Then a few different ones I have made.JPG)

I’m a little confused by the applique question, but I really like the second belt you posted (the bigger one) b/c I think it echos the pattern on your dress a little bit! Your dress is gorgeous too 🙂

srich17: Your dress suits having a sash. I like the sash shown on the dress and the picture of the first sash.

ktf1026: Thank you! The applique is the design on the belt! I was also thinking bigger because it is a dropped waist it won’t look to busy like it would if the feathers started at my waist.

I’m usually in favor of sashes, but I think your dress has a lot going on. I’m not sure I like a belt over the basketweave design in the bodice. I feel like it clashes.

CatyLady: I thought a sash was fitting as well. To me it is pretty without but a bit plain! Thank you for your opinion!

Christy42213: That’s what my Mother-In-Law said too. I felt plain and naked without it! That was me playing around once we got it home.
