Hi all. My dress finally came in YAY!!! and now I am trying to decide on whether to add a sash or a pin where the ruffes start.
This is my dress
And this is the sash that I was thinking of (sorry I don’t have a picture of me in it).
My main concern about the sash is that it would take away from the crossing design on the bodice. So my mom suggested a pin to place on the lower right side where the ruffles start. Here is the pin that we purchased (the comb was replace by a safty pin).
Thanks in advance Bees!!! Any input would be appreciated.

I would pin. It’s a beautiful dress, and I think the sash does take away from the criss-cross pattern and I think the pin is beautiful.

I think either would look great. I did my dress without a sash for the ceremony and then added one for the reception after I removed my veil – the best of both worlds. Now that I look back at pics, I prefer the way I looked with the sash – defines the waistline against all the white.
Take pics with all of the options on you from a few angles and see which looks best both in person and on camera.

I voted sash and am interested to see how your poll turns out – take a look at mine too! Hehe

I think sashes always make the waistline look so sexy compared to pretty much any other look.

I think either would look nice but I voted for the pin. I would have to see the sash on the dress to really know if it would work

I think the picture with the sash is beatiful. It is a pretty dress either way though!
