WeddingBelle625:  I love the dress you purchased. IMO, it’s elegant (perfect for the ceremony) AND sexy (perfect for the reception). However, if you are set on buying a reception dress, I like the 1st one you posted in the comments.

The ceremony dress is absolutely stunning!  I love the lace top with sleeves and then the fullness of the skirt.  I was originally thinking after seeing it that you should wear it all night, but then I saw your second post… That dress is also a dream!  Very much a reception dress too.  I’d say go see how the silky dress looks on you, and if you want two dresses, why not?

WeddingBelle625:  I couldn’t decide between ballgown and a sexier form fitting reception dress so I bought both. It’s YOUR day– get what you want. The dress you have is fabulous though.

It’s your day, go with whatever you feel the best about! All of the dresses are lovely. If you’ve got the money, go crazy. Just keep in mind that a dress change also entails missing some of the party 😊

I would stick with your first dress it’s gorgeous! And you only get to wear it for one day, why limit the time you even get to wear it for that day? And you would have to miss part of the party to change boo! The day goes by fast enough as it is

I think look wise, it is good at a reception dress. But can you dance comfortably in the dress? I guess thats the main concern.

I loove your first dress (what up fellow HP bride!) but I get the desire to have a lighter gown for your reception. I love that first reception gown you posted. I say go for it 🙂

I love your dress and I think it is sexy. I was never into the 2 dresses thing simply because I hated the idea of missing 30 minutes of my wedding just to change! And let me tell you now that I’ve had my wedding, it will take you at least 30 minutes. Going anywhere as the bride takes forever bc everyone wants to talk to you. And the day goes by super fast!!!

if you really want a second dress, do it! there are also lots of other times to feel like a sexy bride- your bridal shower, bachelorette, and if u are doing something the night before the wedding or the day after.

If you can afford it and want to, go for it…but it would be a bit of a shame to only wear that beautiful dress for a very short time!

I LOVE your dress, and I think it is plenty sexy. Additionally, a form-fitting dress doesn’t make sense to me when you want to dance and have fun!
