I’d keep the gown you have, it’s obviously what you wanted and it looks great on you

Could you get a better photo of you in the dress you have bought?? From the photo I think it looks really nice on you and it looks lovely against your skin too. Im not normally a fan of ruffles but I really like it, I think, better than the lace. I would go with what you like rather than others, everyone has different tastes and if you like the original then I would stick with it

Iiiii mean… If you want to sell that first gown, I might buy it in a heartbeat.  It’s exactly what I want and can’t afford.

BUT- I actually think the first gown IS the right one for you.  You have such a tiny flat tummy, and (not to sound weird) a nice rack :), that you almost need those ruffles on the bottom to balance you out.

The lace dress is lovely, but I think the other one complements your shape well.

ETA: is it possible that there’s something about your personality/facial features/way you carry yourself that might make people think “classic, vintage, old-world?”  If that’s the case, I wouldn’t worry about the comments… you’ll just surprise the heck out of them when you step out in all those ruffles 🙂

I’m quite partial to lace and not a fan of ruffles. However, I think the dress you bought looks like great quality (from what I can see) and I like it better on you than the lace dress. Whichever one you end up with, I hope you choose the one that makes you happy.

My dress is lace so I obviously love lace but I think the ruffles are so much softer and prettier on you.  The lace seems a little more harsh and I agree that the ruffles seem to balance you out and a soft beautiful way.  I would stick with your first dress.

I love your ruffle dress. I would stick with what YOU want and not listen to what some strangers think you should wear.
