Send those beauties out! That would be killing me. LOL
I just e-mailed our calligrapher today to find out when our envelopes will be ready for pick-up. Stupid me forgot to taske the whole suite to the post office before she sent the envelopes to the calligrapher. So I don’t know how much postage will be for each invite and I can’t order the pretty stamps today like I want to. And the post office is so slow about processing and mailing stamps. I am afraid this will put me behind schedule. gah!!!!!

The anticipation has got be tough – Send ’em out!! There’s no reason why you can’t sent them out now. Just think, if you have any out of town guests, it gives them all the more time to make travel arrangements… so really, you’re doing them a favor by sending it now! 🙂

Thanks ladies. I’m holding off another day and seeing if i can resist temptation tomorrow. Tomorrow is officially 10 weeks so it seems like it would be a happy medium…giving folks around 5 weeks to get it mailed back.

I was in the same situation yesterday and it was getting worse because people were asking about plans which is detailed on our website, where the rsvp is, and I want them to get their invite before. I ended up sending out the out of town guests theirs today and will wait a week or so for the in town guests.

Ours went out over a week ago and we’re the weekend after you. It doesn’t hurt to give your guests a few extra days notice. We already got like 10 RSVP’s back!

I sent mine out already for all my out of town guests. I’m getting married 10/21. These guests are going to have to buy plane tickets and what not. So I want to give lots of extra time. I’m sending out my local guests invites end of aug, early sept with a RSVP date of Sep 21st. (1 month before). I also want to invite a lot more locals than what I have room for, so I’m hoping a that a few extra seats can be found if some out of town guests can’t make the trip. It’s not really a A list or B list sort of thing, its a ‘Bride isn’t willing to slash the guest list’ sort of thing. I might need to in a few short weeks here. Nail bitting.
