skalovingbride:  I spent $80 on Spanx and they were so annoyingly uncomfortable I didn’t even wear them and I didn’t care. lol.

skalovingbride:  Take the dress with you and try it on with and without shapewear. See which look you prefer.

Remember there are degrees of shapewear. Some are very constrictive and uncomfortable. Others are lighter in weight and more flexible.

skalovingbride:  If you order online make sure they offer free shipping and returns. They all fit differently- even garments in the same brand.

skalovingbride:  I wear a Faha at first it was pretty uncomfortable since I have been wearing it a lot i. have gotten  more comfortable. If you decide to wear a shapewear I suggest you to brake it in so you can be comfortable not restricted.

I wore Rago. It was beautiful- it looked like lingerie and I felt great in it.

skalovingbride:  my wedding hasn’t happened but I’m not wearing shape wear because I already love how I look in my dress without, shape wear is not at all comfortable, & it’s hard to take off & not really sexy.

I wore shape wear for my engagement party- I was in a knee-length A-line, and wanted to feel a little smoother underneath it. I was very warm… In my wedding gown, an A-line strapless dress, I don’t think I’ll need it thanks to the corsetry etc built in. I agree with PP- take it with you and try it on, and then try it without.
