     The bow seems to have a rosette mounted on it which gives it some height. I’m not sure I’d cover it up with a clip. But I would consider centering a small brooch or pierced earing in the rosette.

    I kind of think you’re going to have a problem etting a shoe clip to sit on top of the existing decoration because like @julies1949 said it has a bit of height to it. I like her ideas for alternatives though!

    What about removing the bow and adding a shoe clip? I got a pair of shoes from DSW with a rosette and IT IS GOING AWAY. I’m going to add some of the beading that comes off of my dress during alterations.

    Yeah, on my shoes it looks like it’s just tacked down with a few threads. There might be some small thread-hole marks after it comes off, but I’m planning to cover that area anyway! (I also got them for like $25 on super sale, so it won’t be the end of the world if I ruin them.)

    love those shoes!!! can you tell me what brand and style they are? i am also having the same issue, i want peep toe shoes but i can only find 4 inch ones.
