I’ve been engaged for six months, and even though it’s probably going to be 2-3 years until we get married, OF COURSE I’m really excited to go dress shopping. I’ve been looking online a lot, but I’m torn over whether or not I should actually go and try dresses on for a few reasons ….
1) I’ve heard that consultants at dress shops can be rude if you don’t have a date set or aren’t planning on buying something that day. I find it hard to turn salespeople down without feeling guilty so … what should I do about this?
2) Should I tell them right off the bat when I make the appt. that I’m just “experimenting?” I have an idea of what I want but I want to feel some fabrics and see some styles on me before I make a decision. Is this wrong?
3) I’m afraid that if I go too soon, I’ll buy something too early and then get bored with it in a year or so and then change my mind. I’m also afraid of my size changing and styles changing.
Opinions please and thank you!
