(Closed) To solder, or not to solder?

I would never solder my rings. I do wear a spacer band (a very thin twisted band) to avoid damage when I wear my eternity band with the ER, but I want the option to wear my rings separately, too.

I soldered mine but they’re custom pieces meant to sit flush together, so it would drive me crazy when they would spin and not sit right. 

I have a plain band to wear if I decide my wedding set is just too much, which rarely happens.

ctbxbee :  it’s 14k white gold. They were both spining alot (even though they were the right size) and now they stay nicely in place. I was hesitant to solder them because of the wearing them alone reason but honestly I never ever wore the wedding band alone and I can’t remember wanting to wear it alone and not being able too now that they are soldered. If my ring bothers me I just don’t wear anything. I should add that my ering is a solitaire on a 2mm plain band and my wedding band is a shared prong 2mm eternity ring so even soldered they aren’t that massive on my finger.
